Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR,) is Rajamouli’s next magnum opus and a historical drama that is coming up and one of the biggest and highly anticipated movies in the South Indian film industry. The release for RRR was already postponed once to January 8th, 2020 because of pending shoots and Rajamouli was not ready to release the movie unless he is 100% sure about the quality of the output.
When Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India announced a nationwide mandatory lockdown in light of the COVID-19 pandemic which was spreading all over the world, multiple industries were severely affected including the movie industry. Movie shoots were postponed or put on hold and movie releases were postponed because theaters were shut down. This has severely impacted the schedules of many movies in the making and it is highly likely that many movies will release revised release dates once the lockdown is lifted.

Rajamouli however seems to be intent on releasing the movie on January 8th and is reportedly making the most of this lockdown by trying to finish the post production works during this phase. It looks like the lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR are working on the dubbing work from their houses. Inorder to dub the movies,a soundproof room and a high quality mic is needed and the actors are using their home theaters for this job as the rooms have soundproofing. Rajamouli ensured the actors received the high quality microphone needed for the job. Ram Charan and Jr NTR are planning to finish the dubbing works for the Telugu and Tamil versions of RRR.
If this is the case then the public need not wait for months to see their favourite actors on the silver screen. RRR is being directed by S.S. Rajamouli is a fictional retelling of the lives of Indian freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. Ram Charan and Jr NTR will appear in the lead roles. RRR will also star Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn,Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Rahul Ramakrishna in supporting roles. DVV Entertainment is producing RRR while M.M Keeravani is composing music for the film.
