Director Sukumar is still reeling from the loss of his dear companion and manager Prasad, who died suddenly a couple of days back.
A source close to the director Sukumar said that, “Both of them worked as lectures. When Sukumar entered the movie world, Prasad came to Hyderabad with him, and from that time, has been taking care of everything for him.”
According to the sources, Sukumar is yet to recover from the loss of his friend, who was also his Manager, as it came as a shock to him. Due to the quarantine, the director hasn’t been able to meet his friend’s family and share their grief either.
Sukumar is currently working with Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa. The shooting of the film was stopped due to the coronavirus lockdown and shall continue soon.

Allu Arjun, lead actor of Pushpa also tries to share his condolences with the director. “Allu Arjun called Sukumar several times to share condolences with him about his friend’s loss and to try and motivate the director to get back to normal,” added the source.
