Vijay Deverakonda is known as the angry young man of Tollywood and is well known for his eccentric fashion sense which sets him apart from rest of the Tollywood actors. The Arjun Reddy actor took to Twitter to share an important message to his fans and the public regarding the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and masks
India and the rest of the world is seeing an acute shortage of N95 masks which are the need of the hour. Doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals require it the most but due to low availability of the masks in the market they are being forced to work with just a normal surgical mask. One of the main reasons why the masks are not available is because a lot of the public purchased them out of panic. Majority of the public are under quarantine and do not venture out much but the doctors are under constant risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus.
Vijay Deverakonda shared a picture on his Twitter handle of him with a mask made out of cloth along with an important message. He says covering the mouth and nose with a cloth will slow the spread of the disease as well. He also asks to use a scarf or even a chunni and to leave the medical masks for the doctors who really require them. He ends the message by asking everyone to stay safe.
Hope you are all staying safe🤗
Cloth face covering will help slow disease spread.
Leave the medical masks for doctors and instead
Use a handkerchief
Use a scarf or
Use your mom’s Chunni.
