Actor Nikhil Siddharth Postpones His Wedding Due To COVID-19 Lockdown

Nikhil Siddharth is a young Tollywood actor who was supposed to marry the love of his life in a grand wedding on April 16th, 2020.  However, the highly infectious COVID-19 virus has put the plans on hold because the government of India imposed a strict and mandatory lockdown in effect in order to stop the spread of the deadly virus.  The lockdown was imposed on March 24th and would end after three weeks.

In light of these events, Nikhil Siddhartha is forced to postpone his wedding keeping in mind the safety of the public and his family and also respecting the orders and guidelines laid down by the government.  Nikhil Siddharth got engaged to his long time girlfriend Dr Pallavi Varma on february 1st in a small and private get together. Talking about this news Nikhil said “In the current situation, I don’t think it would be possible for us to get married. We have no choice but to postpone it (sic.)”

Nikhil who was supposed to get married on April 16th, shared his wedding date with Nithin, another Tollywood actor who was supposed to be married on the same day.  Nithin had already announced the postponement of his wedding in light of the recent public scenario. These two weddings were one of the most awaited events in Tollywood for this year.  Nikhil recently donated medical protection kits to doctors and healthcare workers.

Nikhil will be next seen in Chandu Modeti’s Karthikeya 2 and Palnati Surya Pratap directorial film 18 Pages.  Nikhil was last seen in the hit movie Arjun Suravaram, a suspense thriller in which he plays an investigative journalist.
