Narendra Modi requested the Nation to come together for the second time during this lockdown. The first time was on the Janta Curfew imposed on March 22nd, where the Prime Minister requested everyone to come out on their balconies and cheer for the healthcare workers, doctors, police and other heroes who are working tirelessly working on the frontlines to ensure everyone’s safety. A lot of Film celebrities along with their families participated in the exercise as well.
Rajinikanth participated in this ‘Light For India’ exercise, which was intended as a message of solidarity against the COVID-19 virus. Rajinikanth and his wife Latha Rangchari were seen holding candles in front of their house, which had all the lights switched off. The ‘Light For India ‘ saw a huge support from the Indian public as everyone participated in the exercise. Almost everyone participated in this exercise and there was something mesmerizing when all lights went out only to be illuminated by dots of diya flames or flashing lights. Rajinikanth posted the picture on his Twitter handle.
