Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum, directed by Sachy which was released in February this year, is now being remade in Telugu and Tamil, reportedly. The action thriller film features Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in the lead and had acclaimed reviews from the critics and director Sachy was lauded by many for dishing out a masterpiece. Now, eminent producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi bought the Telugu remake rights of this masterpiece film and is planning to helm the project soon.
Now, according to the reports, superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna and Rana Daggubati may star in the Telugu version of Sachy’s directorial Ayyappanum Koshiyum. However, the makers are considering to take in these two actors for the lead roles. If everything goes well, we can see Balakrishna in the role of Biju Menon whereas Rana will be in Prithiviraj’s character in the remake film.

There were various rumours about Jr NTR will be playing a role in this film and then it turned out that Manchu Manoj will also join him. Though it seems like Rana has bagged to play in this coveted project. If the reports turn out to be true, it will be a visual delight for the audience to see Balakrishna and Rana perform together on the silver screen. The official announcement of the cast is to be awaited.
Currently, the Baahubali actor Rana is awaiting the release of his film Aranya which was scheduled to release on April 2 but has now been postponed due to the Coronavirus crisis. As for Nandamuri Balakrishna, he will next be seen in Boyapati Srinu’s directorial venture opposite Shriya Saran and Nayanthara.
