COVID 19: Kamal Hassan offers to convert his house into hospital

Covid 19 is the biggest concern all over the globe as it has been disrupting the daily lives of everyone. There is no vaccine yet and cases have been increasing rapidly. Though the governments are doing everything to keep their nation safe. The virus is spreading rapidly and everyone is scared that the hospitality industry won’t be sufficient for the patients if the Covid 19 reaches to stage 3.

Many celebrities and businessmen are providing their house to convert it into a hospital. South Indian Actor Kamal Hassan has offered to convert his house into a temporary hospital to treat the Coranavirus affected patients. The actor-politician made the announcement through his Twitter handle.

The actor also mentioned that he has planned to make associations with the doctors of his political party Makkal Needhi Maiam and treat the patients in the facility once the government gives him an official clearance.

Kamal also donated Rs 10 Lakh to the Film Employees Federation of South India to support the livelihood of the labours who are severely suffered due to the halt of the shootings because of the national wide coronavirus lockdown.

On the work front, Kamal Hassan is currently working with Kajal Aggarwal in Indian 2 helmed by S. Shankar and bankrolled by Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions. The film was supposed to release in the month of April but has gotten postponed due to Coronavirus.
