Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a nationwide lockdown and curfew for three weeks starting from March 24th, 2020. This decision was made in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic which is affecting the entire world. Multiple governments across the world have imposed nationwide lockdowns as well. The lockdown was implemented in order to give some time for the healthcare sector stakeholders to get ready for the surge in positive Coronavirus cases.
In order to help the government to fight the Coronavirus, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan earlier announced that he would be donating 1 crore to the Prime Minister’s relief fund and 50 lakh each to the Chief Minister’s funds of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Anil Ravipudi, a director from Tollywood has now announced that he would be donating to the relief funds of the Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Anil Ravipudi took to Twitter to announce his decision of donating 5 lakh rupees each to the relief funds of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Many other stars from the film fraternity are quickly coming together to help in whichever way they can during these testing times. The stars are even using their social media outreach to spread awareness on safety tips and precautions to follow during this quarantine period.
I would like to contribute 5 lakhs each to the CM relief fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Let’s maintain social distancing and make this Lock Down period a huge success. Let’s stay away from each other and break the chain. #IndiaFightsCorona. @TelanganaCMO @AndhraPradeshCM
