From Megastar Chiranjeevi To Allu Arjun, Tollywood Comes Together To Celebrate Healthcare Workers During Janta Curfew

The nation went into a mandatory curfew on Sunday from 7 AM to 9 PM.  The curfew was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the government’s measures to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.  The whole nation came together and ensured the curfew went smoothly. However, along with the curfew Prime Minister Modi asked the Indian citizens to come together at 5 PM and clap and applaud healthcare workers, police and other unsung heroes who are on the frontlines risking their lives to combat Coronavirus.  This exercise which a lot of people thought would not see much participation however went smoothly and exceeded everyone’s expectations. Almost every household was present in their balconies to applaud. Streets which were silent till that point of time suddenly exploded into a din of clanging utensils, conch blowing, ringing bells and thunderous applause.

Needless to say Tollywood’s biggest stars came together as well in order to participate in the whole exercise to applaud and praise the efforts of people who are working on the frontlines of the virus.  Have a look at some of the celebrities who came out to applaud.
