Tamil and Telugu actress Amala Paul and director A.L. Vijay got married in Chennai in 2014. The wedding was a much-celebrated affair, with all the big wigs of the Tamil and Telugu film industries marking their attendance at the event. However, the couple parted ways after a few months of marriage, which ended in separation.
It looks like Amala Paul has finally healed herself after the divorce as there are strong speculations going around about a possible new relationship with a Mumbai based singer Bhavninder Singh. Recent photographs have surfaced which show Amala Paul in a Burqa, hanging out on the streets of Mumbai with Bhavninder Singh. The couple have even vacationed in Bali, according to some speculations.

Soon after the pictures from Bali vacation went viral, Bhavninder Singh deleted them and made his Instagram account private. One can only speculate as to why Bhavninder would do that. There are even more rumours which suggest that Amala Paul and Bhavninder Singh have been living together in Mumbai.
In a recent interview, A.L. Vijay’s father, A.L. Azhagappan, revealed shocking details about what he believes is a reason for the divorce of his son Vijay and Amala Paul. He revealed Dhanush offered Amala Paul a role in the movie Amma Kanakku, which she decided to take up. This came her way after the actress had already decided to quit acting post her wedding to Vijay.
This decision created a lot of turbulence in their married life, which eventually led to a divorce in 2017. A.L. Vijay is now married to Dr. R. Aishwarya, who was chosen by his parents at a private ceremony in 2019.
Amala Paul will be seen in a Telugu remake of the popular Netflix series, Lust Stories.
