After the massive success of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Megastar Chiranjeevi is now working with Siva Koratala for his next, which is titled Acharya. The title was confirmed by the Megastar during the pre release of O Pitta Katha. The shooting of this film kicked off recently and is progressing at a brisk pace with massive sets erected in Kokapet, Hyderabad.
With the shooting for Acharya progressing, interesting pieces of rumours and news are slowly emerging. It was earlier speculated that veteran actor Mohan Babu will be seen in a substantial role for Acharya while Mahesh Babu will be seen in a pivotal role for 30 minutes as well. While none of these rumours are officially confirmed or declined by filmmakers, another interesting piece of information surfaced recently.

There is a strong buzz going around the industry that a first look for Acharya will be revealed on March 9th, 2020. While this news is still a rumour, fans are already excited to see their hero in a new avatar for Acharya.
It is also believed that Acharya is a political action thriller in which Chiranjeevi will be seen starting a movement against the endowments department regarding misappropriation of temple funds.
Trisha Krishnan will return to Tollywood after a long hiatus with this film. Ram Charan, who produced Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, is also producing this untitled movie jointly with Anvesh Reddy under the Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment banners. Noted music composer Mani Sharma will compose the music for this Chiranjeevi starrer.
