Pressure Cooker is directed by debutante duo Sujoi and Sushil and stars newcomers Sai Ronak and Preethi Asrani as the lead pair while Rahul Ramakrishna, Tanikella Bharani and CVL Narasimha Rao play crucial supporting roles. The genre of Pressure Cooker is refreshing with a mix of romance, humour, relations and many more elements. The lead pair, Ronak and Preethi, deliver good performances, and at no point do they come across as debutantes facing the camera for the first time. With actors like Tanikella Bharani and Rahul Ramakrishna as part of the cast, it only gets better and the film turns out to be a great watch.
The real strength of Pressure Cooker is its balanced & subtle writing which doesn’t cross the line making the viewing experience a pleasant one. Underneath all the elements like romance, humour, relationships etc., the film has a fine message which makes you stand and take notice. While it’s hard to embed all this in a mainstream commercial film these demanding days, director duo Sujoi-Sushil pull off the task with ease and put up a great show in Pressure Cooker. The music of the film is composed by Rahul Sipligunj and Sunil Kashyap while Harshavardhan Rameshwar has rendered the background score. The songs keep the momentum of the film going and contribute greatly to the narrative. The background score is soothing and manages to convey the right feeling.
Watch Pressure Cooker for the performances and narrative which makes it a good watch and leave you with a smile. An honest attempt with subtle performances!
