Pressure Cooker is the story of a young man who is in a dilemma as to whether he should go to the United States to work according to his father’s wishes or work in India, which is his dream. With tPressure Cooker finally hitting the theaters, audience reviews are pouring in with most of them praising the movie as a new age family entertainer that has everything from romance, humor, relationships and anguish. All the elements of the movie are beautifully tied up by the director duo Sujoi and Sushil.
Here are five reasons Pressure Cooker is a must watch:
1. New age movie:
The Telugu movie industry is seeing a visible shift in the kind of content the audience want. Movie goers no wanter want to watch movies where the hero becomes a knight in shining armour and comes to the rescue of the damsel in distress. The audience wants strong and engaging content and movies like Mathu Vadalara, Pelli Chupulu and C/O Kancharapalem went on to become hits is evidence enough. Pressure Cooker also establishes itself in this genre that is new age cinema with its strong and simple content.
2. Acting performances:
The debutant lead duo of Ronak and Preethi put up strong acting performances in Pressure Cooker and it does not look like the pair are doing their first film. The acting of Ronak and Preethi look like they are seasoned actors and are beautifully complimented by the performances of Rahul Ramakrishna, Tanikella Bharani and CVL Narasimha Rao.
3. Balanced and Subtle Movie:
The real hero of Pressure Cooker is its balanced and subtle writing. None of the scenes seem overly done nor does the plot get routine or suffocating. All the elements are neatly tied up without any extravaganza which in the end makes up for a fun and entertaining watch along with providing a fine message.
4. Rahul Sipiligunj and Sunil Kashyap
Big Boss 3 winner and singer Rahul Sipligunj brings his unique brand of music for Pressure cooker. Rajul Sipligunj sang acclaimed songs like Ranga Ranga Ragasthalaana and OMG Daddy from the recently released Ala Vaikunthapurramulo. He brings his experience to the fore for Pressure Cooker along with Sunil Kashyap. The background score, composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, is folklore based which is another highlight of Pressure Cooker.
5. Sujoi and Sushil
The duo of Sujoy and Sushil helmed Pressure Cooker together. Both Sujoy and Sushil make their directorial debut with Pressure Cooker and have done an excellent job with the resources and script at hand. It is a hard task directing Pressure Cooker given that the lead pair Ronak and Preethi are debutants themselves and not to mention directing veteran actor Tanikella Bharani and established actor Rahul Ramakrishna, but Sujoy and Sushil made sure they gave us a quality output.
