Rana Daggubati recently released the teaser of his upcoming movie Haathi Mere Saathi, a movie which is being released in three languages. The movie is named Aranya in Telugu and Kaadan in Tamil.
The teaser shows Rana Daggubati as Bandev, a protector of forests, taking on what looks like a corporate entity encroaching on forest lands inhabited by a herd of elephants. Fans and celebrities reacted positively to Rana’s rugged appearance and the use of elephants in the film.
However, one Twitter user had a funny reaction to the teaser and said he hopes the movie is not a remake of one of Tony Jaa’s films. Tony Jaa is a martial arts and Muay Thai expert and a Hollywood actor. The user, ‘ckalapala,’ was referring to the Ong Bak series, which had Tony Jaa as the lead.
Needless to say, Rana Daggubati had a laugh at the comment and replied with a picture of Tony Jaa and a response saying, “Bro this is Tony Jaa..You think I look like that (sic.)”

It is easy to make the same mistake the Twitter user did, considering the movies of the Ong Bak series also had elephants on which Tony Jaa rides.
The Rana Daggubati starrer Haathi Mere Saathi will be released on April 2nd, 2020.
