Now, the actress is busy shooting for a biopic about the life of Indian cricketer Mithali Raj.  Viacom 18 Studios made this project possible and filmmaker Rahul Dholakia directs this movie. The story is by Priya Aven, who worked closely with Mithali Raj and her family during the process.

The movie team released the title and first look poster of Taapsee Pannu on January 29th, 2020.  Taapsee looks stunningly similar to Mithali Raj(Captain Of Indian Women Cricket Team) in the poster and the biopic is titled Shabaash Mithu.  This movie will be released on February 5th, 2021.
