National award winning actor Dhanush who gave an outstanding performance as Sivasaami in Asuran of Vetri Maaran, has changed the serious mode of his, to act in a fun filled comedy, Pattas.
The Tamil movie is going to release in the Telugu states as Local Boy. The first look poster featuring Dhanush and leading lady Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is out.

Senior actress Sneha also plays a pivotal role in Local Boy. Mervin Soloman is the music director and R.S. Durai Senthil Kumar is the director for Local Boy.
Another interesting factor about Local Boy is Telugu actor Naveen Chandra plays the villain and Dhanush plays a double role in it.
The movie already released in Tamil and it needs to be seen how the Telugu audience receives this dubbed version.
