Team Thalaivi Celebrates MGR Birth Anniversary With Arvind Swami First Look

J. Jayalalithaa, the leader who won a million hearts both as an actress and a politician, became an inspiration for many movies based on her life, post her dubious death in December 2016.

One among these movies is Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi, directed by A.L. Vijay.

January 17th, 2020, marks the 103rd birth anniversary of M.G. Ramachandran, the political guru of Jayalalithaa.  Team Thalaivi released the first look of the character of M.G. Ramachandran, played by Arvind Swami, on the occasion of his birth anniversary.  Noted actor Arvind Swami’s first look proves he is the apt choice for this role.

The first look shows M.G.R. singing Naan Ungal Veettu Pillai, a famous song from his heydays as an actor.

Vishnu Induri and Shaailesh Singh are the producers of Thalaivi, which will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
