The year 2019 saw a good number of movies with unique titles.

90ML

90ML is a romantic action entertainer movie.  The intention of the movie makers behind choosing this title to build curiosity among the audience worked out perfectly well and played a crucial role in the movie’s success.

This films stars Karthikeya Gummakonda of RX 100 fame in the lead role, who is a major attraction to this film.  Anup Rubens’ music had its own share in the movie’s success.

Gaddalakonda Ganesh

Gaddalakonda Ganesh is the Telugu remake of the Tamil movie Jigarthanda.  Though the initial movie title was Valmiki, it was later changed to Gaddalakonda Ganesh after controversies broke out about the title. However, the title was pertinent for the movie as it portrayed Varun Tej as a gangster in the town of Gaddalakonda.  Varun Tej won accolades for his performance as a gangster in this movie. Young Tamil actor Atharvaa Murali also made his Tollywood debut with Gaddalakonda Ganesh.

Oh! Baby

Oh! Baby is a fantasy comedy movie and was a remake of the South Korean movie Miss Granny. We must say the title Oh! Baby was apt for this movie, saying enough about the lead character in the movie, Baby, a 70 year old woman who suddenly transforms into her 24 year younger self after a series a mysterious incidents take place in her life.

Oh! Baby received a positive response everywhere and Samantha Akkineni’s performance in the movie received the audience’s appreciation.

American Born Confused Desi (ABCD)

Allu Sirish, after his previous flick Okka Kshanam in 2017, chose this movie after a long gap of 2 years.  Though the title of the movie was quite intriguing, the movie didn’t fare well at the box office.

However, Allu Sirish’s performance in this movie won positive reviews from the audience.  Master Bharath, who entertained us with his bubbly look and quirky dialogues in Srinu Vailtla’s movies, played his part well with his acting in this movie.

F2: Fun and Frustation

F2: Fun and Frustration  is a multi starrer comedy with Victory Venkatesh and Varun Tej in the lead roles.  Anil Ravipudi, who is currently coming up with the most anticipated film of 2020, Sarileru Neekevvaru, directed this movie.

The title F2: Fun and Frustration perfectly fits with the storyline.  The movie showcases the life of two frustrated men who land into troubles with their chauvinistic attitude, in a fun way.  This movie also stood as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year 2019.

iSmart Shankar

Puri Jagannadh did not have a decent hit after his Temper took up this interesting project to achieve sure shot success.  Ram Pothineni, who is known for romantic comedy movies, worked with Puri for the first time on this movie.  The title iSmart Shankar contributed well to the movie’s success by arousing curiosity among the audience about the  story.

One can easily guess from the title the movie is more or less related to the genre of science fiction.  The new ripped look of Ram Pothineni, Puri Jagannadh mark punch dialogues and Mani Sharma’s music together made this film a blockbuster.

Falaknuma Das 

Falaknuma Das was one of the low budget movies which went on to become a massive hit at the box office this year.  One important thing to share here is the lead actor of this movie, Vishwak Sen, directed this movie.

The title of the movie aptly fits the character of the lead role in the film and describes Vishwak Sen as a young man from Falaknuma in Hyderabad.  This movie was released under the prestigious banner of Suresh Productions by celebrity producer Suresh Babu.

Vivek Sagar, who is known for composing music for notable films like Pelli Choopulu and Brochevararura composed the music for this movie as well and contributed to the movie’s success.
