Who does not know Tabu and her imposing body of work in Bollywood? The Hyderabadi actress was dubbed as the Meryl Streep of India by critics. A two time National Award winner and Padma Shri award recipient, Tabu is making a comeback to Tollywood, where she started her film career, with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Tabu plays Allu Arjun’s mother in this movie.
Tabu recently started dubbing for her role. Though Tabu speaks fluent Telugu, she does not dub for her lines usually and would be doing it after 10 years. She last appeared in Telugu in K. Raghavendra Rao’s Pandurangadu (2009.)
However, the legend now made it clear she will dub her lines for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Recently, she started dubbing for her character and is taking extra care to modulate her voice for her role.
