K.S. Ravindra—the name might generate curiosity in some cinegoers. However, those who follow his works such as Jai Lava Kusa, Sardar Gabbar Singh and Power, cannot stop liking K.S. Ravindra’s skill in weaving comedy into the screenplay of his films.
The young filmmaker, popularly known as Bobby, is now coming up with Venky Mama, which can be considered his most ambitious project as it involves Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya in the lead. Speaking to the media about this project, Bobby said one day, he was accidentally given the script of Venky Mama by D. Suresh Babu. Bobby met Suresh Babu through Kona Venkat and was briefed about the story by the head of Suresh Productions.
Bobby said he was told this script was the dream of the late D. Rama Naidu, who wanted his son Venkatesh and grandson Naga Chaitanya to collaborate for a project under their home banner.
Bobby added he hired writer Janardhan Maharshi to make the required changes in the script and then went with the final product to the sets. Hence, though the basic story was by Suresh Babu, the credits of Venky Mama will bear the name of Janardhan Maharshi.
Bobby said after watching the first copy of Venky Mama, Naga Chaitanya hugged him and thanked him for the great film.
Well, we will see the final product on the 13th of December, 2019, when Venky Mama releases.
