Nikhil Siddhartha is a hero known for his selection of unique scripts and taking his own time on a movie to give his best. The Karthikeya star is coming up with his new movie Arjun Suravaram, which is an action thriller. Nikhil for the first time plays a journalist who wants to unearth corrupt practices of politicians.

Story:
Arjun Suravaram (Nikhil Siddhartha) is an investigative journalist working for the news channel, TV99. He falls for his co worker at the channel ( Lavanya.) Just when everything seems to be going okay suddenly, Arjun is arrested by the police for a fake certificate scam. Arjun manages to come out of the case but finds out it was a deliberate attempt by a big political mafia to frame him. How does Arjun take revenge on these people and how does he come out victorious in bringing the culprits to justice? This is the story of Arjun Suravaram.
Review:
Arjun Suravaram addresses a sensitive issue of rampant fake certificate scam mostly in educational institutions and in the migration industry. The way this mafia of fake certificates operates is depicted quite convincingly in the movie.
Nikhil does a neat job of playing a journalist who is on a mission. His action sequences involving the goons are real and impressive. Lavanya Tripathi does a decent job of her role as Arjun’s love interest. Comedians Vennela Kishore and Satya Akkala do a decent job .
Director Santosh does a clean attempt of the Tamil remake Kanithan. He almost remains faithful to the original in treating the subject with the required amount of seriousness. Even the romantic angle is not overstretched and is to the point.
So, Arjun Suravaram is this week’s bet for a clean entertainer. Go for it!
