Every devotee in India is aware of the social work the Isha Foundation and its founder Jaggi Vasudev are undertaking in various fields like education and spiritual upliftment.
Recently, the Karnataka based spiritual leader gave a call to people to save the Kaveri River by protecting it and by planting trees on the banks of the River, to promote ecological balance and social well being.
Well known actress Sanjjanaa Galrani joined the campaign and pledged one lakh saplings as part of the Cauvery Calling campaign, started by Jaggi Vasudev.
Cauvery Calling is a campaign which focuses on planting 242 crores of saplings and helping the farmers in providing basic infrastructure, along with a far reaching goal of saving water and air for future generations.
Interested people can pledge a sapling per person, which costs Rs. 42. The Karnataka Government already contributed Rs. 1 crore worth saplings for the cause.
Let’s unite in this cause for Kaveri.
