Varun Tej is on a high these days. The star, who is known for his ability to choose good scripts, is ready for his movie Valmiki to release on September 20th, 2019. The gangster comedy is directed by Harish Shankar.
Pooja Hegde and Atharva Murali play important roles in Valmiki, which has music scored by Mickey J. Meyer.
The movie did stupendous pre release business, with its satellite rights being sold for Rs. 10 crores.
Valmiki is a remake of the 2014 Tamil hit Jigarthanda, which had Bobby Simha and Siddharth in the lead.
With Varun Tej playing an antagonist’s role for the first time, it will be interesting to see how his huge makeover in Valmiki is received by the audience.
