Karthi Film Kaithi Has Its Release Date Cut Out

Karthi, the talented actor, is now experimenting with his roles. The actor, who experimented with romantic drama Dev and village drama Kadaikutty Singam, now completed another experimental movie, Kaithi, which was extensively shot during night time.
Kaithi finally has a release date—September 27th, 2019.
Karthi plays a prisoner at a central jail in this Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial. Another aspect of this movie is, there is no female lead.
The film was shot in the interior areas of Tamil Nadu, including Tirunelveli and Chennai.
Kaithi has another unique feature—it has no songs. Mostly background music dominates this film, which is based on the life of a prisoner.
Kaithi is bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures and Vivekananda Pictures.
