Ayushmann Khurrana made people sit and take notice of his layered performance in the 2018 hit Andhadhun, directed by Sriram Raghavan. The actor won the Best Actor Award at the 66th National Film Awards recently.
Now, the movie is all set to be remade in Telugu and Tamil. Reports were rife the movie is going to be remade in Telugu with Sunil, the comedian. Now, the actor who will play the Tamil version was finalized. Actor Prashanth, who was once a heartthrob of millions with his romantic hits like Jeans and Duet, is all set to play the role of a blind pianist.
Veteran actor and Prashanth’s father, Thiagarajan, bought the rights for the movie’s Tamil remake and will make his talented son play the lead.
The fact is Prashanth is a rank holder in playing the piano and passed the 4th grade in piano at the Trinity College of London. The role may be literally a child’s play for him.
So, Prashanth is making a much needed comeback in a major role with this movie.
