iSmart Shankar Goes To Bollywood

Ram Pothineni starrer iSmart Shankar, directed by Puri Jagannath, is a blockbuster.  The movie rejuvenated the careers of both Puri Jagannath and Ram Pothineni.  Ram shed his ‘chocolate boy’ image to play a pucca Hyderabadi, a settlement broker, in iSmart Shankar.

News has it, a well known company from Bollywood is already in talks with Puri to remake iSmart Shankar in Hindi.

Sources also added, the Hindi version of iSmart Shankar will star Ranveer Singh.  Puri Jagannath has already worked in Bollywood with stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan in movies like Bbuddah… Hoga Tera Baap.

We will have to wait for further details about the Hindi remake of iSmart Shankar!
