Rana Daggubati-Sai Pallavi Movie Launched

The Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi period drama Virata Parvam 1992 was launched on June 15th, 2019. Director Venu Udugula took to his Twitter handle on June 14th, to announce the big day.
His tweet read, “I am happy to announce my next project starring @RanaDaggubati and @Sai_Pallavi92 under @SLVCinemasOffl and @SureshProdns opening tomorrow 10: 30 AM at Ramanaidu Studios (sic.) ”
The period drama has Rana Daggubati playing a politician in a village of Telangana and Sai Pallavi playing a poor farmer girl, who is a victim of the petty politics in the village. Her family’s land rights are abused by the local village head. According to reports, she later turns a Naxalite.
Legendary actress Tabu reportedly plays the role of a human rights activist, who fights for the case of the landless in the village. Reports also confirm, National Award winning actress Priyamani will also play a pivotal role in Virata Parvam 1992.
Virata Parvam 1992 will extensively be shot in Telangana districts like Mahbubnagar, Warangal, and Siddipet. This Rana Daggubati starrer is bankrolled by Suresh Productions and Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas and is slated for a late 2019 release.
