Hippi, starring Kartikeya Gummakonda and Diganagana Suryavanshi, will hit the screens on June 7, 2019. Team Hippi is releasing the songs one by one. The T. N. Krishna directorial has music by Nivas K. Prasanna. The first lyrical video, Yevathive, which was released today, on May 14th, is sung by Karthik.
The seemingly romantic number has an inbuilt pain of the protagonist who loses his love in the way.
Produced by veteran Tamil producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu, Hippi is the first straight Telugu movie of Tamil director T. N. Krishna, whose 2006 Tamil movie Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, starring Suriya Sivakumar and Jyothika, released as Nuvvu Nenu Prema in Telugu.
