Ravi Teja is indeed a Mass Maharaja, who concentrated on slapstick comedy in his movies and delivered commercial hits one after the other. Kick, Ravi Teja’s 2009 comedy, turns 10 on May 8, 2019. Kick was directed by Surender Reddy, while Vakkantham Vamsi wrote the story. Kick had a successful run at the box office, following which, it became a cult classic for Ravi Teja.
Kick was remade into several Indian languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Bengali and Kannada. The Hindi version, Kick, again became blockbuster across India.Ravi Teja is currently busy with his comeback of sorts, Disco Raja, again his brand of movie, under the direction of Vi Anand of Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada fame. Disco Raja starts its second schedule on May 27th, 2019.
