Koneru Havish, who impressed everyone with his 2012 movie Genius, is back again with 7, a thriller directed by Nizar Shafi, who is debuting as a director with this movie. Interestingly, the story of 7 is written by the producer of the movie, Ramesh Varma Penmetsa. The teaser, which featured the whole cast including veteran Rahman, Nanditha Swetha and Pujita Ponnada, was released on New Year.
Team 7 announced the trailer date as May 9th. Nizar Shafi, as keen cine goers may know, is a sought after cinematographer who worked on films such as Bhale Bhale Magadivoy (2015) Nenu Local (2017) and Mahanubhavudu (2017,) besides other Tamil movies like Naaigal Jaakirathai (2014.) Nizar is also the cinematographer of 7, which is scheduled to release on June 5th, 2019.
