Sai Pallavi is all set to lock horns with Rana Daggubati in Virata Parvam 1992. The movie discusses a lot of human rights issues which have never been dealt with before in Indian Cinema, the film unit said.
Sai Pallavi plays a village girl who, post a failed relationship, becomes a Naxalite, to revolt against the forces of inequality and suppression. Rana plays the role of a political leader in their village. As Sai Pallavi plays the role of a poor girl, she is shooting with no makeup.
The first schedule of Virata Parvam 1992 commences from June and will be shot mostly in the villages of Telangana, as it has a backdrop of that region. The principal shoot will be done in Karimnagar, Siddipet, Warangal and other hamlets of these regions. The movie boasts of a veteran star cast, including Zarina Wahab, Tabu, Easwari Rao and Priyamani.
Virata Parvam 1992 is directed by Venu Udugula of Nadi Needi Okate Kadha fame.
