Jayam Ravi, the actor who is known for his work in Tamil cinema, is now all set to work on his next project. There was some buzz all over the industry about Ravi being all set to work with his brother, Mohan Raja. Brushing aside all the rumours, Jayam Ravi signed his next project with director Lakshman. This director worked on Jayam Ravi’s previous projects Romeo Juliet and Bogan which went on to become some of the biggest hits in the industry.
This upcoming project will be bankrolled by Sujatha Vijaykumar, who was the producer of Ravi’s previous project, Adanga Maru. Lakshman, who gave some of the biggest hits to Ravi, stated, he is very glad to be a part of his upcoming project. When it comes to the details of the movie, Lakshman refused to divulge any. However, the talented movie maker stated, this project would be different from the rest of Ravi’s previous works.
This yet to be titled project is all about giving back to the society and Jayam Ravi will play the role of a farmer in this movie. This upcoming project will be shot against the backdrop of a village and will be completely based on those visuals. The antagonist and the female lead of this Jayam Ravi starrer, along with a couple of other roles, are yet to be finalized.
D. Imman is the music composer of this upcoming project. This musician, who gave some of the biggest chartbusters to Jayam Ravi, promises to live up to their legendary combination.
By the looks of it, Jayam Ravi’s upcoming movie seems very similar to that of our very own Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie, Maharshi. Now, if the resemblance is just a coincidence or a drawn influence, one has to wait and find out!
