The story of Aithe revolves around four youngsters. Their desperate need to prove themselves and establish themselves as successful people attracts the attention of an underworld don, played by Pavan Malhotra. The don, who is on the lookout for four people without a criminal record to hijack a plane, is impressed by these youngsters and decides to frame them for the hijack. Turns out, he is in for a surprise. These youngsters kidnap him and decide to encash the prize money on his head. With a series of interesting events and with everyone having a hidden agenda, Aithe is a movie filled with interesting twists and turns.
The music of Aithe was composed by Kalyani Malik. He composed tunes for some of the biggest movies in the industry such as Ala Modalaindi, Oohalu Gusagusalade, Kalyana Vaibhogame and Andhrudu. Though the number of songs were limited in Aithe, the song Chitapata Chinukulu was a huge sensation when the movie hit theatres and still is one of the best chartbusters. The lyrics of this song were penned by Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry, while M. M. Keeravani hummed the tune.
Aithe is one of the biggest thrillers which came out in 2003. With a well thought out storyline and unique cinematography, this movie went on to win many awards at the National Film Festival. Aithe won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu (2004.)
