Nayanthara, the Female Superstar of South Indian cinema, is currently busy with her upcoming project, Airaa. This upcoming movie is a horror thriller, which features Nayanthara in a dual role, for the first time in her career. This upcoming movie is all set for a grand release very soon. Now, Airaa released its trailer and it looks like the director has completely cashed in on the curiosity factor of the audience.
While Nayanthara’s act as a village bumpkin pulls at the heartstrings, her look as an ultra modern girl from the city excites the audience. The fight, the struggle and the internal conflict she faces when her character encounters discrimination, are one part of the story. Knowing the reason behind her downfall is her gender and the fury which flashes in her eyes when she decides enough is enough is another story. All these factors are going to pull the audience towards the theatres to watch Airaa. The trailer gives us a sneak peek into the life of Bhavani and Abhi, the characters played by Nayanthara, which elevates the curiosity factor to a completely new level.
Airaa features Kalaiyarasan, Yogi Babu, Manobala, Vamsi Krishna and M.S. Bhaskar in key roles. K.M. Sarjun is the director of Airaa, while Kotapadi J. Rajesh is producing it, under the banner of KJR Studios. K.S. Sundaramurthy is the music composer , while Sudarshan Srinivasan is handling the cinematography.
To be released in both Tamil and Telugu, and an impressive trailer and teaser cut, Airaa is all set to hit theatres on the 28th of March, 2019.
