Lakshmi’s NTR Under Close Scrutiny

Lakshmi’s NTR, a movie which created quite a controversy all over social media, is now under close scrutiny. It turns out, the movie’s teaser, trailer, songs and all the promotional content were indicative and instigative against the leader of the ruling party of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandra Babu Naidu of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)

The ardent followers and leaders of the Telugu Desam Party filed numerous complaints with the Election Commission, requesting it to stall the release of this upcoming movie. The Election Commission finally reacted to these pleas and directed all the requests towards the State High Court, which is presently looking into the matter. A special bench is due to watch Lakshmi’s NTR and submit a detailed report to the Election Commission, post which, the Censor Board will certify it.

Lakshmi’s NTR is due for a grand release on the 22nd of March, 2019, which is less than a week away. With the censor clearance still pending, it will be a tough week for Lakshmi’s NTR. Rakesh Reddy and Deepthi Balagiri are producing this upcoming project, while Kalyan Koduri is composing the music.
