RRR Movie Highlights

RRR, a movie which is creating quite the buzz in the Telugu film industry, is now all over social media for the astounding revelations made today during its press meeting. Directed by S.S. Rajamouli, the maker of two of the biggest blockbusters, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, RRR promises to be another mammoth project which will take the audience on a rollercoaster ride.

The press meeting of this upcoming project lasted for an hour or so and Team RRR made some pretty surprising and important announcements. The key takeaways from this meet are listed here below:

• The release date:

The release date of RRR was revealed at this meet. Rajamouli stated, this project will be out as a single feature film on a massive budget. It will be released on the 30th of July, 2020. While the fans will have to wait for close to a year for another probable blockbuster straight from the mind of the master storyteller, Rajamouli made it very clear, it is definitely worth the wait.

• The stunning female cast:

The director has brought on board some of the most beautiful women from across the film industries. While Alia Bhatt plays the role of Sita and stars opposite Ram Charan, Daisy Edgar Jones will star opposite Jr. NTR in the lead role. With some serious weight to the characters of these stunning women, RRR is essentially a story of love and the situations which shaped our leaders, who permanently etched their names in the Indian History.

• The story:

The story of RRR revolves around two war heroes who gave a wakening call throughout Andhra Pradesh and led the people into the Independence movement. Though Rajamouli established the storyline of the movie as fiction, the characters are based on Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem, two real life war heroes who were a part of the pre Independence struggle.

• The cast of the movie:

Apart from the stunning female cast and the talented Tollywood cast, RRR also stars Ajay Devgn from Bollywood and Samuthirakani from the Tamil film industry. With some of the best actors working on this project, one can be pretty sure Rajamouli has another blockbuster on the way.

• Humongous budget:

The team of RRR confirmed, this project will be made using a massive budget of Rs. 350 to 400 crores, essentially making it one of the most expensive projects in the Telugu film industry.

• The vision of the team:

When asked about the intent behind deciding to work with such an inspiring yet fictitious story, Jr. NTR and Ram Charan stated, this movie will make the audience aware of the Telugu war heroes who sacrificed their lives to give the present generation the sweet fruit of freedom.
