Mahesh Babu, fondly known as the Prince of the Telugu film industry is currently on cloud nine. Recently, Mahesh made it to Madame Tussauds museum, Singapore, in which eminent personalities, political figures, influential people and many other noted individual’s statues are a part of the collection. We would like to call it the Hall of Fame, as people who achieved great heights in their career or worked for a social cause all their life get a place in this esteemed museum.
It is a proud moment for the Telugu people as Mahesh Babu, our very own Telugu star made it to the prized collection of Madame Tussauds museum. Mahesh Babu is going to inaugurate the statue himself on the 25th of March, 2019 at AMB Cinemas. This is a special moment indeed as it is the first time a statue from Madame Tussauds, Singapore, is being launched outside the confines of that City. Thereafter, his wax statue will join the IIFA Awards Experience and the new upcoming Film Star Experience.
Before the making of the statue, a special team from Madame Tussauds flew down to Hyderabad to take the measurements of Mahesh Babu. More than 200 measurements were taken and to keep the statue as close as possible to the real person,.
Alex Ward, General Manager of Madame Tussauds, Singapore said, “Mahesh Babu is a superstar and we are honoured to partner with him. To finally add a Tollywood star to our attraction is an important step. We receive many Indian tourists from all over the country and our goal is to represent the best of Indian cinema.”
Mahesh Babu is currently working on his upcoming project Maharshi. Vamsi Paidipally is the director of Maharshi while C. Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju and Prasad V. Potluri are producing it under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies, Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema.
