Mahanayakudu, the second part of the NTR biopic is all set for a grand release during the month of February 2019. However, owing to the current political scenario, it looks like Mahanayakudu is would be facing some serious flak in the coming few days.
Daggubati Venkateswara Rao is the eldest son in law of NTR, who helped him design the logo of Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He stood behind NTR as a pillar of strength and support during the election campaigns. Recently, this senior politician shifted his loyalties and is soon going to join the Y. Rajashekar Reddy Congress Party (YSRCP,) a rival party. Now, the makers of the NTR biopic are in a dilemma as this Venkateswara Rao was depicted in a very positive light with the focus on all the service he has done to the TDP.
A source informs, “The filmmakers want to show the reality and do not want to deviate from the historical facts. However, since Daggubati has shifted loyalties, they are in a predicament over how to portray NTR’s eldest son in law.”
Krish Jagarlamudi is the director of NTR Mahanayakudu while Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri are the producers. M. M. Keeravani composed the music for NTR Mahanayakudu.
