It’s raining biopics this season. Right from Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, one of the first revolutionary freedom fighters, to NTR, YSR and Jayalalitha, every one of them had a great story to tell and discover. To emphasize on this point, another biopic about a great man is now on charts.
A biopic about one of the earliest and the most powerful freedom fighters of our Telugu soil, the Alluri Seetharama Raju biopic, was recently announced. Sunil is going to direct this biopic, while the Risoli Film Academy is going to produce it. While the pre production work of this biopic is underway, the cast and crew of this movie are being kept under drapes. The regular shoot of the Alluri Seetharama Raju biopic is going to commence from March and the makers are planning for a grand release in the month of August.
Alluri Seetharama Raju was given the title of Manyam Veerudu, the Hero of Jungles. Superstar Krishna worked on a movie about Alluri Seetharama Raju, titled Alluri Seetharama Raju, which came out in the year 1974. In this movie, Krishna played the lead role and it created a sensation among the Telugu audience. The song Telugu Veera Levara still rings in one’s ears when they think of Alluri Seetharama Raju, in which Seetharama Raju led his troops and stormed the British camps and police stations.
