Nithya Menen, the curly haired beauty who is known for her many talents such as playback singing and acting, has her hands full at the moment. She was at an interview recently and was posed a question about her thoughts about Jayalalitha, the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, before the offer for playing the role of Jayalalitha came to her.
She was very candid and upfront about this question and stated, she knows very little when it comes to politics. However, she found Jayalalitha extremely intriguing and fascinating as a person. Nithya said, she always felt empathy toward Jayalalitha and that is the reason she could relate to her and understand her ways.
Nithya Menen added, she wants to approach the biopic from an angle where she can discover and bring to light who Jayalalitha was as a person, why she made a few choices, the mistakes, the ups and downs of her life. She mentioned, she wants to give the character she is playing a human touch and perspective where mistakes and failures are a part and parcel of it.
“Rest all, including the politics, are secondary,” states the talented actress. Nithya Menen is currently gearing up for the release of her next movie, Praana. In this movie, she is playing the role of an English writer who is plagued by her own fears while she conducts her research on social issues and evils of the society.
