Among the biggest stars of the Kollywood industry, Rajinikanth and Ajith have their names etched in the records. Both the stars enjoy tremendous following all over South India. Petta and Viswasam, the respective movies of Rajinikanth and Ajith, were released, today. The fans of these stars flooded the theatres on this occasion.
Right from 5 in the morning, theatres have long queues stretching onto roads, while the public waits for the movie tickets to their favourite stars’ movies. Firecrackers, bombs, huge flexis and many such rituals are a common practice among the Tamil fans. However, this time things got out of hand.
In Vellore, the fans of Ajith and Thalaivar got into a serious fight and injured a few people. Apparently, one of the fans tore down the flexi of Rajinikanth, which triggered others to pick a fight. A few fans brought knives to injure others. Four people were injured and were rushed to a nearby hospital. Due to this incident, the other theatres are stationed with police on guard 24*7.
Being a fan of someone and adoring them is not a wrong practice, but it shouldn’t get out of hands and place the lives of many innocent people in danger.
