Mahesh, the superstar of the Telugu film industry, is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming flick, Maharshi. Vamsi Paidipally is directing Maharshi while Dil Raju and Prasad V. Potluri are the producers. The shoot of Maharishi just concluded in the U.S.A. and Mahesh is already discussing scripts with other directors.
Mahesh and Sukumar are now planning to work together and a serious discussion about the scripts is being held. One such script that was discussed was based on the Razakars, a private militia formed during the rule of Nizam Osman Ali Khan. However, Mahesh declined to work on this project.
Mahesh stated too many periodic dramas might become an overdose for the audience. Moreover, with one period drama, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, already hitting the theaters in the coming year, another period drama wouldn’t be such a good idea.
Mahesh also added period dramas usually need a head to toe makeover, which isn’t feasible for the star. Mahesh and Sukumar are now holding discussions about a new script. Sukumar just started penning down the new script for Mahesh.
