Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is the most talked about project of the Telugu film industry.. This movie is currently shooting in Georgia for its action sequences. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is based on the 18th century freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
Sye Raa is Chiranjeevi‘s dream project and the actor is channeling all his efforts into this movie. The Sye Raa team was recently joined by the Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep, who is recovering from an injury he suffered during the shoot of his movie Pailwan in Hyderabad. Vijay Sethupathi, the Tamil star, also joined the team recently.
A huge set has been erected in the open lands of Georgia to house its cast and crew. Tents, spider cameras, cranes and various other equipment have been set up in the vast expanse. Hundreds of actors and support cast dressed as East India Company soldiers and as soldiers of Narasimha Reddy’s army are braving the weather of Georgia and shooting there.
Apparently, a huge war sequence is being planned, where the armies of Narasimha Reddy and East India Company collide. Spidercams, usually used in sporting events, are being used to cover this sequence. Four cranes have been set up to suspend these cameras and record the sequence.
Close to 2300 actors, technicians, crew members and many others are currently working on this war sequence. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a mammoth project with a humongous budget close to Rs. 250 crores set aside for it. News is, this war sequence is billing close to Rs. 50 crores for a duration of 8 minutes. The movie is scheduled to release in the year 2019.
