The one of the most beautiful and talented senior actresses of the Telugu film industry, Ramya Krishnan turns 48 today. She started her career at the age of 14 when she starred in the Tamil film Vellai Manasu opposite Y.G. Mahendra. A trained dancer and a passion for acting, Ramya Krishnan featured in her first Telugu film Bhale Mithrulu. But the movie that brought her name and fame was, Viswanath’s Sutradharulu that released in 1989. From there on it was a tough journey on the road of success. She was one of the glamorous divas of yesteryear along with Nagma, Soundarya, Meena and Roja. The actress got a breakthrough by working alongside K. Raghavendra Rao, the director of many blockbuster movies.
Alludugaru, Allari Mogudu, Major Chandrakanth, Annamayya and many more movies to her credit, Ramya Krishnan is one of the finest actors of our times. Now, she is back to acting and she looks even better than before. She played a very glamorous role in the movie Soggade Chinni Nayana, and thereafter Baahubali 1 and 2 in which she played the Queen mother, Sivagami. What we feel is that the Lady Boss from now onwards is going to be known more as Sivagami and less as Ramya Krishnan as she brought life, character and most of all managed transcend us into the world of Mahishmati. Ramya Krishnan has won many awards and praises for her performances. We hope she plays even better and bigger roles and reaches heights in her career.
Happy Birthday to Ramya Krishnan!
