Manoj Prabhakar, a standup comedian from Chennai recently posted a video of his show in Chennai. Though the Telugu crowd is basically fond of good humor and wit, Manoj went a tad bit over the line and tested the patience of Telugu crowd by trolling Mahesh Babu, the heartthrob of many and an inspiration to even more audience in the Telugu states. With this act of his, Manoj pushed his luck a little too much.
From then on, fans of Mahesh Babu kept trolling Manoj on social media and other platforms and demanded an apology for making such insulting comedy. They also warned him not to make such heinous comments again. One of the fans got really offended and said that the Telugu audience never made fun of Tamil actors no matter what. The stand-up comedy artist commented that Mahesh Babu’s facial expressions in the movie Spyder were almost negligible. When the audience reacted to this comment, he further got encouraged and mentioned that Superstar Mahesh Babu is the male version of Katrina Kaif.
The artist perhaps did not realize that Mahesh Babu is one of the most talented actors of the Telugu film industry and holds an extensive fan base. He also was not aware of the fact that the Superstar is one of those few actors who won multiple awards for his performances and repeatedly on Tollywood’s most desirable men list.
Manoj Prabhakar, now posted a public apology on Facebook to Mahesh Babu and his fans that he was sorry and had nothing against the actor or his followers. He also mentioned that his stand up act wasn’t directed towards anyone and wasn’t intentional. However, Mahesh Babu fans are not satisfied with this.
