Vijay Devarakonda is hot under the heels with the phenomenal success of Arjun Reddy. He is one of the most happening heroes among younger lot and enjoys humongous fan base. After Arjun Reddy, Vijay’s long awaited and long delayed Ye Mantram Vesave is up for release. Though the film is long delayed, due to Vjay’s craze, the film garners eye balls. Has the film lived up to its expectations? Will Vijay continue his success streak?
Nikhil aka Nikki (Vijay Devarakonda) is a gaming freak who gets addicted to online games. He keep playing games online and chatting with girls online for months. He meets Raga Malika (Sivani Singh) online. Raga Malika alias Rags is a computer, video game designer. When Nikki tries to befriend Rags online, she gently turned down his proposal. Nikki learns that Rags is in trouble. He decides to rescue her and faces several odds on the way. Did Nikki meet Rags? What are the conseuqnces that Nikki faced? How did they overcome?
Although Vijay Devarakonda had shot for this film long back, he had acted very well in the role of Nikhil. As a youth addicted to online games, Vijay did a well job.
Sivani Singh too performed well. Although she hasn’t scored games in terms of glam quotient, she did score brownie points for her acting prowess. All the other cast too did their part well.
Plus Points :
Draggy Second Half
Kudos to director Sridhar Marri for penning a novel concept with good conflict point that is relatable to youth. However, Sridhar falls short in executing the film well. Draggy second-half and weak climax are the film’s shortcomings.
However, the scenes involving the lead actors Nikhil and Raga Malika are the highlight of the film. The challenge game between Nikki and Rags is interesting which sets the film on track.
Overall, this is a one-time watchable. Go for Vijay Devarakonda. He won’t disappoint you.
Watch it for Vijay Devarakonda!
