Sources reported, income tax department have begun raids in various Telugu producers offices today. The raids are still going on.
First and foremost, the raid began from Jai Simha producer, C. Kalyan’s office. Following this, the raid continues to go on in Haarika & Hassine Creations office, Suresh Productions, DVV Entertainments, Bhavya Creations and Northstar Entertainments offices.
The IT department commenced this sudden raid due to having strong evidences against Telugu producers. Jai Simha on one side, collected Rs. 26.5 crores in 4 days approximately, and worldwide the film’s theatrical rights are sold for approximately Rs. 27 crores.
On the other end, Trivikram Srinivas’s Agnyaathavaasi already dealt with an issue recently that the movie story got plagiarised from a French novel and the makers had to make an out and out settlement to solve it. Now the raids have turned out to be another hurdle for the film’s producers.
