There are many movies in Indian cinema, where the stories are inspired from foreign movies. The scripts are written by imbibing the ideas from those movies. But very few movies experience the risk of plagiarism. One such issue has been raised in case of Pawan Kalyan‘s 25th film, Agnyaathavaasi.
The French novel named, ‘Largo Winch’ copyrights were owned by T series. There is now an accusation on Agnyaathavaasi that some of the scenes from the film were blatantly lifted by Trivikram Srinivas. Jerome Salle, a French director, turned Largo Winch novel into a film. The director imposed plagiarism charges on the makers of Agnyaathavaasi .
Although there is information that the Agnyaathavaasi team have done an outdoor settlement with T series. But the French director appealed that it is not sufficient since PSPK25th film has been released worldwide.
We need to wait and watch how does Agnyaathavaasi crew will handle this situation.
