Ever since the teaser of Napoleon is out, it has generated a lot of curiosity. The concept of shadow missing come as a surprise to many. This created good buzz around the film. Check out our verdict of the film.
Napoleon (Anand Ravi) seeks the support of police to find his ‘missing’ shadow. This shocks the entire police department and it becomes sensational in no time. He then alleges that back pain is being caused due to speed-breakers built against rules. He claims that God is appearing in his dreams and says that an accident case is actually a murder. Somewhere, the CI (Ravi Varma) starts believing in him. He reopens the case of an accident and finds out shocking facts upon investigation. He learns that it is a smartly-planned murder. Where the final investigation end forms the rest of the story.
Anand has done a fair job. His acting is good. Komali is alright. As usual, Ravi Varma did well. He is seen as a Circle Inspector who reopens the murder case. The rest of the cast is good.
Pratinidhi writer Anand has hand-picked a novel point to make his directorial debut. It starts well and goes well till the interval, however, it slightly deviates from the main plot in the second half.
Especially, the supernatural element in the second half is a slightly disappointment. Barring this, it is a good attempt by Anand. Ravi Varma is the other face of the film who does carry of the film on his shoulders. It is a decent crime thriller.
Napoleon is a one-time watch.
