Auto Driver Devi (Manoj Nandam), Hospital Ward Boy Sri (Dhanraj) and Tea Stall Owner Prasad (Bhupal Raju) are the three friends, who lead lives on their terms. The boys get to know about the popular actress Leela (Pooja Ramachandran) and due to some unwanted reasons the three friends get to meet the actress. However Sri gets to know that Leela has been met with an accident. Devi, Sri and Prasad don’t know how the incident happened. What happened to Leela? What’s the reason behind Leela’s accident? The story of Devi Sri Prasad is a suspense thriller, director Sai Kishore took inspiration from a Hollywood movie, The Corpse of Anna Fritz and The Dead Girl. The strengths of DSP are it’s technicians, background score and cast performances. The story begins at a slow pace but sets off it’s way to know the reasons behind Leela’s accident.
Dhanraj, Manoj Nandam and Bhupal Raju have done a great job. Dhanraj pulled out different expressions in this film, while Manoj and Bhupal grabbed the attention of the audience with their unique character variations. Not to be forgotten, Pooja Ramachandran played a different role and she is one of the highlights of the film. Posani Krishna Murali and Venu play key roles in this film.
